His elemental shield allowed him to drill straight through solid earth. You read that correctly, he blasted the ground so hard that it made an earthquake. His airbending allows him to eroded rock and even create an earthquake more powerful than all modern earthquakes without earthbending and only airbending. Aang in the comics was able to split the crust and lift a city. However, she has never displayed an earthbending feat even remotely close to aang. Same with the fire vortex she did against unalaq when he trapped her into the glaciers. Blocking a spirit beam is impressive, but is it useful and applicable in a real fight? She can't generate a beam of energy while aang has shown capable of doing this right when he escaped the iceberg and when he energy bent but even that beam of energy may have just been light and not harmful energy.
This is an opinion question so what google says is irrelevant. Those are my thoughts, what are yours? =) He is the most balanced and thinks clearly (thanks to his airbending/monk upbringing), is very quick and elusive, and knows more techniques than the others (redirection of lightning, seismic sense, and energybending, although he taught it to Korra also). When it comes down to it though, I think Aang would take the cake. Aang had to master 3 elements in 6 months, while others like Roku did so in 12 years! But I believe Korra surpassed Aang in that category due to the fact that she was water, earth, and fire bending when she was just a kid! Jeong Jeong once said that he had never seen such raw power while talking about Aang, which I can believe. In my opinion, Kyoshi is the most ruthless, Roku is the wisest/most experienced, Aang is the most balanced/level-headed, and Korra has the most raw talent. Let’s say they are at their most powerful that we have seen (cough cough Korra), so that means they are fully realized Avatars and they can control the Avatar state. Each of the four I listed are from the four different nations and each have different natural elements: We see some others for split seconds throughout the show, but nothing extensive. I only considered Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, and Korra in this debate because, throughout the series, we really only see those 4 Avatars in action. One day I was thinking to myself, “Who would win in a fight between the Avatars?”
